New Year's Resolution

Okay, here it goes.  For the past few years I have wanted to start a blog, but unsure of what I should blog about.  I could write all day about my family and friends or life in general, but why not start out posting about something I know.  I love to scrapbook.  Like so many of us this obsession began when my children were born and the feeling came over me that I needed to start recording their lives.  My oldest is 15 and I am years behind on all my albums.  So here I am making a resolution that in 2011 I will get myself organized and spend some time recording life's memories.

In making this resolution, I went onto the Studio J website and decided that digital scrapbooking is not so bad.  Mind you, I still love the traditional form of scrapbooking and the smell and feel of paper, but if I am ever going to get ahead of the game I need the help that Studio J is offering.  Below is my first attempt at digital scrapbooking.  The weight is lifting knowing I will be enjoying these pictures someplace other than on my computer.


I love the fact that I could pull my photos off of my computer and adjust the sizing to make what I think is a great memory from 2009.   I just may make my entire 2009 family album using Studio J (CTMH's on line scapbooking site).

    I saw your entry for the Heart 2 Heart scrapbook sketch and loved it, so I decided to take a look at the rest of your blog. I have to tell you, I thought at first that your computer had somehow made a mistake on the date of this post, until I read your next post from one year later. Too funny. I love that you're trying again. Your artwork is lovely, so thanks for being willing to share it. Keep it up!
